Basic OKVIP Terminology

OKVIP, the dramatic intellectual game, is famous for its 52-card deck and a distinct language world. To help you win in this arena, explore some of the easy-to-understand and interesting poker terms below.

1. Position In The OKVIP Table:

In the poker table, the player’s position plays an important role in decision making and poker strategy. In the poker table there are the following positions:

A. Early Position (EP): including Small Blind, Big Blind, 2 seats to the left of UTG’s big blind spot, UTG+1.

  • Small Blind (SB): in the first position from the left of the Dealer, a certain amount is required at the start of the pre-flop betting round.
  • Big Blind (BB): in second place from the left side of the Dealer, which requires the player to pay a mandatory amount before the pre-flop betting round starts, the, usually 2 times Small Blind.
  • Under the Gun (UTG): the first person to act and the next player to the big blind left hand.
  • Under the Gun (UTG+1): position after UTG

B. Middle (MP): position for players in the middle of the table. MP and MP+1 included

  • Middle Position (MP): next to UTG+1 position
  • Middle Position (MP+1): next to MP positon

C. Late Position (LP): The closest seat to the right of the BTN is called the end position. Including HJ,Cut Off/CO.

  • HJ (Hi-jack): sit behind MP+1 and before Cut off.
  • Cut off/CO: players in the right position Button/Dealer. At the end of the table and the person sitting here will act at the latest in a betting round.
  • Dealer/ Button/BTN: the person holding the dealer sits in the split position and has the most advantage in the game of OKVIP. They will make the last stroke of the betting round.

2. OKVIP Gameplay Terminology

  • Tight: how to play firmly, carefully consider and do not show the card even when owning strong cards.
  • Loose: play style, less calculation, selective.

  • Shark: skilled players at high rankings, easy to win long-term money.

3. OKVIP Terminology About Cards

OKVIP is an intellectual game so even in the cards there is also a separate terminology to distinguish that you need to grasp as follows:

  • Deck: poker deck.
  • Burn/Burn Card: the top card before the Dealer proceeds to split and will be discarded.
  • Community Cards: the common card is flipped between the table and all players in the game are visible.
  • Hand: a combination of 5 cards.

  • Monster draw: box wait post, lobby or both.
  • Trash: junk cards with low scores, unlikely to win.
  • Kicker: the extra card can decide the winner of the bet.
  • Over-pair: the bleach has double higher than all the value of the common leaves on the table.
  • Top pair: double made up of the player’s eraser with the highest card being on the table.
  • Middle pair: double made up of the player’s eraser with the highest card in the middle at the Flop.
  • Nuts – is the most powerful deck that cannot be lost by the common cards.
  • Nut straight: Largest Hall.
  • Nut flush: largest bucket (except for lobby breaker).
  • Nut full-house: is the biggest tickle.
  • 2nd nut: second strongest deck.
  • Board – Is the general cards that are being opened on the table.
  • Dry Board/Wet Board: Tables with little chance of improving the deck/table with plenty of chances to improve the deck.
  • Rainbow: Means that the general cards on the table belong to different substances, there can be no crates. Rainbow is an example of a table with little chance of improving the deck.
  • Play the board: where two common cards form the strongest deck without using their own cards.
  • Two-tone: The table has two different postings.

4. How will the action in poker be explained?

The action from the opponents on the table is also reflected in detail by the term OKVIP:

  • Flat call: follow the player bet before holding the card value strong enough to factor.
  • Cold call: according to the previous opponent’s bet.

5. The term tournament in poker

  • Add-On: buy more chips to give more advantage on the table with other players.
  • Re-buy: buy more chips to continue with the tournament after having lost all.
  • Freeroll: free tournaments with no rewards.

  • In The Money (ITM): players who are shortlisted for the tournament.

  • Chip Leader: who holds the leading position in chip numbers.
  • Bounty: be rewarded with a sum of money when other types of players succeed.

6. Other OKVIP terms

  • Bankroll: the amount of money a player has in a OKVIP account.
  • Bankroll management: managing capital when playing poker.

  • Showdown: the time when all players face up to determine the win and lose at the end of the game.
  • Tilt: a sense of bitterness, loss of calm when losing the opportunity to win constantly.
  • Rake: the house fee derived from the total bet in the poker games.
  • Stack: stack poker chips on the table.
  • Stake/Limit: bet level.
  • Street: the betting round.
  • Equity: the odds of winning in poker.
  • Fold Equity: % Fold of the opponent in the game.
  • Staking is the act of holding and locking a certain amount of coins to receive a reward
  • Straddle: is an additional bet placed before the hand is dealt. The bet is equivalent to a minimum of double the big blind or BB. However, there are certain circumstances in which you can overcome the amount limit for a side bet.
  • Sit and Go (SNG): in OKVIP is a popular form of tournament, especially in online environments. This is a short-term type of tournament, with no fixed duration and usually only lasts from a few minutes to an hour, depends on the number of players and the speed of the table played.
    Sit and Go usually has a fixed number of players, usually between 2 and 180 depending on the variation.
  • Multi-Table Tournament (MTT): are indispensable tournaments at any online poker floor. These are multi-table tournaments, happyluke with a non-fixed attendance and pre-scheduled time.
  • Bubble: In a tournament, Bubble is the place just before reaching the split in the tournament. Players are eliminated just before being awarded the so-called “bubbled”.
  • Inside Straight Draw: another name of waiting lobby slot.
